Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Ridge Rush iPhone game ("the app", "we") handles. We built the app to collect as little as possible.

What we do not collect

Ridge Rush has no accounts of its own, no sign-in and no chat. We do not run our own servers and we do not collect your name, email, contacts, location or photos. The app contains no analytics SDK.

Data stored on your device

Your progress (coins, best distance, cleared levels, cars, paints, upgrades and settings) is saved on your iPhone. If iCloud is turned on, a copy is also kept in your own iCloud account (Apple's iCloud key-value storage) so your progress comes back when you reinstall the app or switch iPhones. We cannot see or access this copy. You can remove it in iOS Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, your best Infinite Run distance is submitted to the Ridge Rush leaderboard under your Game Center nickname. This is handled by Apple; we never see your Apple ID. You can sign out of Game Center in iOS Settings › Game Center.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Until you buy the Starter Pack, the app shows an occasional full-screen ad between runs through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device information such as the advertising identifier (IDFA, only if you allow tracking), IP address, device model, OS version and ad interactions. Google processes this data under its own policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Your choices:

• iOS asks whether you allow tracking (App Tracking Transparency). If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the IDFA is not shared and ads are not personalized by it. You can change this anytime in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
• In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, a consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform) lets you accept or refuse personalized ads. You can reopen it from the app's Settings (Ad choices).
• Buying the Starter Pack turns the ads off for good.

In-app purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The app only receives a confirmation that a purchase succeeded so it can unlock the item or remove ads.

Children

Ridge Rush is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data on our side, there is nothing for us to export or delete. For data processed by Google for ads, see Google's Privacy Policy. Under the GDPR you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
